National Library of Iran

In 2017, the National Library and Archives of I.R.Iran required a logo, visual Identity and poster for the celebration of 80th anniversary of establishment. There was a demand for a logo as a holder of the main logo, which had been designed by Ali Khorshidpour in about 20 years ago. The main logo was inspired by a book spread as a symbol of intellectual.
The solution is an archetypal but sophisticated visual identity that relies on suspension lines which are inspired by Persian Painting’s layout: the logo represents an octagonal arch, based on main logo’s lines, illustrating an entrance to the 80th anniversary of establishment. A turquoise color palette positions the archetypal visual identity as a historical element in Iran.
